of this generation…
It is from the numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is thus shaped…’’ (R Kennedy 1966)
Top Stories From Hope for nigeria conference
Conference is by invitation only.
To be indifferent to the suffering of fellow human makes the human in us, inhuman. Indifference, he warns, is more dangerous than anger and hatred. Anger can at times be creative – one writes great poem, a great symphony. Or one does something for the sake of humanity because one is angry at the injustices that one witnesses. Even hatred at times may elicit a response. Youfight it. You denounce it. You disarm it. Indifference elicits no response. Indifference is not a response! (Peril of Indifference – Elie Wiesel)
We’re here advocating and calling on the state, institutions and other stakeholders, that the status quo is no longer acceptable; and demand therefore the following 10 points agenda for the welfare of our children and young people
